Developing the whole priest
The Institute for Priestly Evangelization (IPE) aids in the formation of seminarians and priests to be effective leaders in the New Evangelization (NE).
Our Story
When we hear of the New Evangelization, we imagine members of the laity rising up to share the Gospel and revitalize parish life by inviting others to the life-giving message of Jesus Christ. New Evangelization initiatives, then, primarily target lay people in their efforts to raise up missionary disciples. In this grand vision, priests are called to be facilitators and leaders of these evangelizing parishes.
We envision that this institute will collaborate with the seminary to form priests who are missionary disciples. We strive to equip them with them tools undergirding the New Evangelization initiative so they may better lead and encourage their flock in the 21st century.
